Lima is an ideal starting point for exploring other destinations in Peru, such as Machu Picchu or the Sacred Valley of the Incas. Points of attraction:<br \/>\n1. <strong>Main Square<\/strong> - the historic city center with its impressive colonial buildings and vibrant atmosphere.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Larco Museum<\/strong> - houses an impressive collection of pre-Columbian artifacts.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Barranco bohemian neighborhood<\/strong> - with colorful streets, art galleries and traditional restaurants.<br \/>\n4. <strong>Kennedy Park<\/strong> - the perfect place to relax and admire animals, especially street cats.<br \/>\n5. <strong>Lima Cathedral<\/strong> - an architectural gem with a fascinating history.<\/p>\n<p>II. History and Traditions:<br \/>\n1. <strong>Inca Garcilaso de la Vega<\/strong> - the famous Peruvian chronicler, one of the most important authors of the Spanish world.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Independence Day<\/strong> - celebrated with great fanfare every year on July 28, a holiday that highlights national pride.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Inti Raymi Festival<\/strong> - a celebration of the winter solstice, an important moment in Inca culture.<\/p>\n<p>III. Geography and adventures:<br \/>\n1. <strong>Tours to Machu Picchu<\/strong> - a fabulous experience for lovers of adventure and history.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Huascar\u00e1n National Park<\/strong> - ideal for hiking and exploring Peru's biodiversity.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Spectacular beaches<\/strong> - Lima has many beautiful beaches, perfect for surfing or relaxing in the sun.<\/p>\n<p>IV. Culture and Gastronomy:<br \/>\n1. <strong>Cebiche<\/strong> - traditional raw fish marinated in lemon and local spices.<br \/>\n2. <strong>Pisco Sour<\/strong> - Peru's national drink, a delicious and refreshing cocktail.<br \/>\n3. <strong>Traditional arts and crafts<\/strong> - Unique works of art, Inca textiles and ceramics.<\/p>\n<p>V.
